Bringing Geoffrey to Life: A Joyous Journey with Toys'R'Us at Dubai Festival City Mall

The joy of working on this project was immense, rekindling the child within each of us. When tasked with creating a CGI video for Toys'R'Us campaign, Back to School, we knew we had an opportunity to create something truly special—a project that would delight not just children but also everyone involved.


Our journey began with conceptualising the grand idea of bringing Geoffrey, the beloved Toys'R'Us mascot, to life in a larger-than-life spectacle at Dubai's Festival City Mall. We wanted to create a magical moment where Geoffrey could interact with his surroundings in a way that would captivate and inspire young minds as they prepared for their school journey.


The project involved meticulous storyboarding, ensuring that every moment of the video was filled with wonder and excitement. Our team worked tirelessly to model and animate Geoffrey, ensuring that his character was both faithful to the beloved mascot and enhanced with the charm needed to shine in this unique setting.




Geoffrey, towering over the mall, walks across the rooftop with a spring in his step. He stops to open a massive box from the roof, revealing a shopping bag inside. With a delighted expression, Geoffrey pulls out a Toys'R'Us school bag—the very symbol of the 'Back to School' campaign, a freebie for the lucky shoppers. After inspecting the bag with a smile, Geoffrey carefully places it back in the box and walks away, his happiness radiating to everyone who watches.


This scene was designed to be more than just an animation; it was a celebration of the excitement that comes with a new school year, the thrill of discovery, and the joy of giving. The video is a blend of playful animation and heartwarming storytelling, a tribute to the joy that Toys "R" Us brings to children and families alike.


We owe a huge thanks to the Toys'R'Us team for placing their trust in us and giving us the creative freedom to bring Geoffrey to life in such an imaginative way.


Once again, our incredible team has hit the mark, creating a piece that not only meets the campaign’s goals but also brings smiles to the faces of everyone who sees it. This project reminded us all of the magic of creativity and the joy of working together to bring an idea to life. We couldn’t be prouder of the result, and we hope it brings as much delight to the viewers as it did to us during its creation.
