Setting the Mood with a Vintage Touch
Our journey began with the creation of a mood board that seamlessly blended vintage aesthetics with the contemporary essence of Mia Wilder’s spoken word and music. As Ashiv Tatolu headed the project, and worked along with Jananee to create the mood board and the whole outline for the project. We believe in the power of visuals to enhance storytelling and the mood board became our guiding light for achieving the perfect atmosphere.
Strategic Storyboarding and Shot Division
Every word, every pause, and every emotion – meticulously planned through a storyboard that painted the narrative with precision. Our team delved into the details, ensuring that each frame conveyed the essence of Mia Wilder’s profound words. Shot division planning became an art form as we choreographed the visual symphony that would accompany the spoken verses.
Capturing the Soul
On the day of the shoot, our talented videography team comprising the super talented Portrait Photographer and Videographer Vigneshwaran Bhupathy assisted by Vibin who is super co-operative and proactive; worked in harmony and enthusiasm to capture the raw emotion and authenticity that defines Mia Wilder’s spoken word. The vintage-inspired visuals unfolded, creating a timeless quality that complemented the artist's evocative performance. The visual were then carefully selected and seamlessly edited by Sucee Siddarth who has an excellent vision and quirk in rhythmic edit; which was essential for ‘Always’.
